Wednesday, November 18, 2009 The art of makeup Quote of the day: "Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty." - Derek Zoolander ok so just an fyi. the above pictures that seem to be luvo's are actually pictures of the makeu look i did which was inspired by mary-kate&ashley style makeup; a brown/warm chocolate slightly smokey eye (their makeup next to mine.. close enough LOLand alot more wearable for everyday) oh and btw ashley is the one to the right, mary kate has a similar look but alot more darker with colder browns on her eyes.. i liek it but would have taken too long to get that buildup of darkness i guess.. ANYWAYS blog about the epic weekend! SATURDAY was as you know, Mc.Happyday! I did facepainting because i am tres creative with faces these days lol. We raised over 700$ which was awesome coz all we did was facepainting, hair spraying, raffles a giant dalmatian and normal donations (unlike outside maccas who had FAILED Aus. Idol stars and Brazilian Dancers and Dj etc). It was an awesome day although there was a crisis or two.. Then caught the train in to the city woohooo so like, SUNDAY was tres fun. YES THE GIG AT ST. JOEYS! although our performance pretty much sucked shit bigtime (because of lack of proper soundcheck and not being in time because we didnt think out our start properly) it was still heaps fun and i still rekon we rocked it etcetc and the chicken kebab-y skewers were really yummyy!! STAYED IN THE CITY THAT NIGHT and looked after maximilian who is now 7months old! i know they grow so fast lol MONDAY was extreme heat (well it turned out not to be that extreme but whatever) so i stayed in the city with my sister and max and we went to... BONDI JUNCTION! to spend money! bought some lovely makeup brushes by Artiste (which i used to produce the above makeup look) and also had some yummy organic orange juice which for a tiny cup cost 5.50$ but it was worth it coz it was yumm!! and we also bought some organic orange cake (which i dont like but my sister is obsessed with) from the same organic food stall.. turns out the cake tasted alot like soysauce and oranged so it found a new home in the garbage! AHAHHA well that is all for now.. gunna go have a shower and wash all this makeup off my face and blowdry my hair and watch CRIMINAL MINDS WHICH I LOVE! :D psychotic but really awesome ciao babies xx
