Monday, November 30, 2009 AND BY THE WAY THE BOTTOM LOOK IS NOT A SILVER AND GREY/BLACK SMOKEY EYE OK!! IT IS A DARK BLUE AND BROWN SMOKEY EYE FINAL LOOK! ok so like, i know i told linda that i was gunna have a natural look for look #6 and then today BBQ decided to have half face smokey half face natural.. but when i was applying this look i totally forgot about the half-half thing so here is a darker, smokier version of look 3. its reallyy dark in person but looks alot lighter in the fotos coz of the flash. and i know the size of the makeup on my eye at times can look HUGE but thats just coz i have big eyes too. i will definitely be downsizing the eye looks for dals as she is more asian than i am. anyways yeah, this is the final look. enjoy and cbox me! :D xoxoox after this i will be blogging as per usual.. btw. YES I KNOW MY FACE LOOKS AWFULLY WHITE IN THIS LOOK. I USED A DIFFERENT FOUNDATION THAT I KNOW IS NOT MY COLOUR BUT I WAS LIKE WHATEVER COZ THE FOCUS IS ON THE EYES. lol look #5 ok so i just scratched my lower ee and now it really hurts. Damn it! anyways this is the 5th and SECOND LAST LOOK of dal's formal makeup series. this is sort of my attempt at combining gold and blue (her 2 feature colours) into her eye makeup. the gold inner eye on both eyes are not very even just because i rushed it a little because i have a music assignment due 2moro and as usual, i procrastinated like a motherfucker. so yeah enjoy and cbox me bitches ciao xoxo ps. my eyelashes are naturally not that long so in these looks i apply 2-3 coats of mascara.. dalena is obviously going to be wearing fake lashes as well to add an extra level of depth to her look. I havent been putting fakies on for any of my looks because i just wash it off after i post up the blog and so it would be a waste. HOWEVER, if you would like to re-use ur lashes and you also want to wear mascara on your natural lashes, then do the following (if you already dont know what to do of course): curl your lashes apply ONE coat of mascara ONLY. ONE COAT ONLY apply your fakies apply 2 more coats of mascara (or as many coats as you feel necessary) on your NATURAL upper lashes. try not to get any mascara on the fakies as this will decrease their longevity. so yeah, when you apply the mascara after the fakies, dont put the mascara on all the way along to the tip of your lashes, just until your natural lashes end. and to make your lashes look thicker: apply mascara as close to the lashline as possible and "jiggle" the wand through your lashes in quick back and forth movement and slowly work your way up, (focusing on the lashline) Sunday, November 29, 2009 look #4 ok so this look i feel is sort of a combination of look 1 and two. its very warm but like dark (in person.. the camera might not have picked up the darknesss of the makeup look). personally i love it.. would wear it on a night out but look 3 is still my number one favourite. This look is based on browns with a brown liner on the water line, brown liquid liner on the top lash line and even a brown mascara (SEXY CURVES by Rimmel OMG I LOVE THIS MASCAR SERIOUSLY YOU MUST TRY IT!! TDF IM TELLING YOU!!) and a light pink lip. anyways enjoy :) i took the picture in different lights and settings on my camera so like, yeah to find which light looked best. they all looked prety good to me but you be the judge. yeah foto quality isnt that good for this look SORRY GALS AND GUYS Saturday, November 28, 2009 look #3 ok so like, i know im supposed to be basing dals' makeup look on her jewelery (GOLD) but i couldnt help doing something more outrageous! this is inspired by her clutch which will be blue. this is by farrr my favourite look to date although i highly doubt she will choose it for her formal look. I dont blame her.. wayy too cool for just a fairvale formal. anyways hope you like it. Friday, November 27, 2009 look #2 ok so here is the second look for dals. Its alot darker and less subtle. There is still the gold inners (tearduct area inner 1/4) but instead of the coppers and bronze tones ive opted for a sweep of charoal instead which is alot more dramatic especially in the socket bone area. There are 2 looks here. although the same overall colours and design, one is with an eyeliner and the other is not. KEY: TOP 2 FOTOS ARE WITH EYELINER ON TOP LASHLINE BOTTOM 4 FOTOS NO LINER!! both have quite rosy cheeks and a pinky nude lip (keep reading for how to make a ready-when-you-are nude lippy) ok so to make a quick and easy nude lippy that is enough for one application (meaning you dont need to buy a 40-50$ stick of colour if nudes arent your thing or if you hardly wear lipstick! realisticly, it would be a total waste of money) all you need are two "ingredients". * liquid or mouse concealer-NOTHING POWDERED as it will seperate (or alternatively you can use a mouse or liquid foundation IN YOUR COLOUR OF COURSE!) * a very pliable lip balm or clear gloss - i use lucas pawpaw ointment but you can also use lip therapy by nivea or vaseline.. ok so apply a little of your foundation/concealer and a little of your lipbalm/glosson the back of your hand and mix together with either a toothpick, a lipbrush or just your finger. and trust me you only need a little of each because remember when you combine them the amount of product you end up with will be double. Also make sure there are equal amounts foundo:balm. Then all you do is apply and pucker up bitches ;). now with this nude base you can always add a touch of lip stain or pinky gloss just to make your lips a little rosy, which is what i hve done in the above look. Thursday, November 26, 2009 dals second makeup look is in a few hours! but first i would just like to say (about the makeup looks) that although i am applying makeup to my whole face, i am really only focusing on the eyes so the cheek and foudation may not be perfect or anything coz the eyes is what im yeah focusing on .. BUT HER CHEEK AND FACE WILL BE GOOD ON THE DAY! lol for dals bebe ok so no quote. this is just a picture blog.. a plog? anyways.. makeup look1 for dalena's formal look (I WILL POST UP MORE EVERYDAY UNTIL .. TUESDAY.. then she will pick :D) its a mixture of golds,coppers,bronze's and chocolate browns in the crease aswell as a semi-nude lip and subtle cheek. i put it with the black liner but may change it to brown as it will go better with the overall look.. but yeah.. so yeah here it is. stay tuned for like the rest of the looks.. ANYWAYS blog about the epic weekend! SATURDAY was as you know, Mc.Happyday! I did facepainting because i am tres creative with faces these days lol. We raised over 700$ which was awesome coz all we did was facepainting, hair spraying, raffles a giant dalmatian and normal donations (unlike outside maccas who had FAILED Aus. Idol stars and Brazilian Dancers and Dj etc). It was an awesome day although there was a crisis or two.. Then caught the train in to the city woohooo so like, SUNDAY was tres fun. YES THE GIG AT ST. JOEYS! although our performance pretty much sucked shit bigtime (because of lack of proper soundcheck and not being in time because we didnt think out our start properly) it was still heaps fun and i still rekon we rocked it etcetc and the chicken kebab-y skewers were really yummyy!! STAYED IN THE CITY THAT NIGHT and looked after maximilian who is now 7months old! i know they grow so fast lol MONDAY was extreme heat (well it turned out not to be that extreme but whatever) so i stayed in the city with my sister and max and we went to... BONDI JUNCTION! to spend money! bought some lovely makeup brushes by Artiste (which i used to produce the above makeup look) and also had some yummy organic orange juice which for a tiny cup cost 5.50$ but it was worth it coz it was yumm!! and we also bought some organic orange cake (which i dont like but my sister is obsessed with) from the same organic food stall.. turns out the cake tasted alot like soysauce and oranged so it found a new home in the garbage! SAY WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY DIRECTLY TO THE PERSON WHO YOU ARE SAYING IT TO! dont play stupid mindgames which in a sense are not actually games at all because we all know who you are talking about! And yes, incase we were all wondering i am talking about lynh's latest blog about my other BBQ associate NATASHA DUMBASS LAY. ok lynh what is with all the blog-drama and the raw emotions? like cant you say it to natasha's face? You guys never had trouble confronting her in person before.. and like, seriously, wasnt jf already pretty much no longer together? and have you thought that maybe the reason why tash now prefers to be with us (THE FAB 5) is not only because we are like some of her closest friends but also because we dont make her feel bad about doing the things she wants to do and we dont set out to make her feel guilty or unhappy about silly immature things like sitting with us (especially not via blog) and we adore the DUMBASS for who she is and dont have group interventions about how and why we think (we dont btw tash) she has changed etcetc.. ok lynh so before you go writing another blog please just think about that.
